The Legal Clinic at the College of Law at the University of Karbala organized a scientific visit to the Iraqi Parliament for a number of second-year students from both morning and evening studies.
Professor Dr. Haider Al-Shammari, head of the Legal Clinic at the college, stated that the visit included a tour of several departments and divisions within the Council, including the Legal Department, the Central Library, the Institute for Parliamentary Development, the Legislation Department, the Media Department, and the Parliamentary Department.
Al-Shammari added that during the visit, the students met with department heads and general managers in these divisions and listened to detailed explanations about the nature of the work and responsibilities of each division.
This visit comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the University of Karbala and the legislative authority, and as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to provide an applied educational environment that contributes to developing students’ legal skills and linking theory with practical application.
